Thulasi arrived to Toronto, Canada in 1988 from Sri Lanka and moved to Vancouver in 1995. He saw that it was nearly impossible to find South Asian foods, ingredients, and spices and ultimately decided to open up his own store to sell these goods. Thulasi imports many South Asian foods from India and Sri Lanka in addition to his own branded Thurga goods. He is actively expanding his store to include items from Singapore, Malaysia, Fiji, and many more authentic Asian goods!
